Warme edge insulating glasses
Until recently, aluminum spacers were used in the insulating glass. The window-frames and the glass's thermal insulation values have improved steadily, but these spacers have always been a weak point.
Aluminum has a much higher thermal conductivity than other elements of the window. The peripheral aluminum frame thus remains a cause of heat loss.
The thermal insulation capacity (Uw) is influenced by the so-called. Psi value, which can be improved by using warm-edge spacers. They can be made of stainless steel or plastic.
Benefits: preventing condensation on the glass surface, reducing the thermal bridge, improving comfort.
